From the 60's to present days, the Biffi group has always based all its activities on research
It was the 60’s when the Biffi sisters, Rosy and Adele - supported by Rosy’s husband, Franco Limonta - inaugurate two boutiques in Milan, in Corso Genova and in Via Fabio Filzi. Towards the end of the 60’s, an unexpected trip to London marks the introduction of international, new and creative designer boutiques. From that moment on, many unknown Italian and foreign designers found success in the course of those years, becoming undisputed celebrities such as: Kenzo, Yohji Yamamoto and many others. The two sisters, despite their lack of commercial traditions in fashion, quickly showed a noteworthy capability through the stylistic proposals in their boutiques, stating their concept of elegance. Ever since, Biffi also means avant-garde and became a reference point for the sector. They will soon become icons of that world famous Milan style.
